July Subscription Box Favorites (Super Belated!)

July subscription box favorites group image

July what?! I know, I know. Everyone’s all “pumpkin spice” this, “fall decor” that and hardly remember the month of July with the impending fall season on the way, but hear me out. It’s still summer in my mind and with moving and unpacking and all the craziness that comes with that whole process during the last month I never got around to sharing my July subscription box favorites. Plus, I didn’t keep a very organized system and had to uncover/find them all among my stash once boxes were unpacked. Whoops! Anyway, every thing that came mid-summer was waaay too good not to share so I had to give these items a VERY belated shout out.

As usual, I’ve picked an item to highlight from each subscription box review I’ve done in the last month so you can get a taste for what comes in each. Be sure to click the link to get the full box reviews so you can get the complete details too! Many are linked over to A Year of Boxes where you can find discount codes and more if you’re interested in subscribing.

July Subscription Box Favorites Round-Up

Meraki Botanicals Flora Oil

From Nourish Beauty Box (full box review here):
Meraki Botanicals Flora Oil ($18)

“Rich in vitamin a, vitamin e & essential fatty acids to reduce inflammation & scars, fight free radicals, protect & strengthen skin barrier and stimulate hair growth. – Or – Flora mist calms skin and hydrates hair with aloe vera, lavender, rose and neroli hydrosols. It helps to replenish water, soothe irritations and balance your natural sebum.”

Another brand that I recently ran across and had put on my list of things to try! There were two options of products to receive from this brand and I got the Flora Oil. Both products sound beyond lovely, but I definitely like the one I got. It’s an all-over oil so you can use for skin, body, cuticle, hair, in your bath etc. It smells really good, like floral with a calming herbal undertone. I was just looking for a calming oil with lavender in it so this is perfect for my needs. I think I’ll use it most as a hair and body oil.

Anima Mundi Dirty Rose Chai Collagen Booster

From Goddess Provisions Box (full box review here):
Anima Mundi Dirty Rose Chai Collagen Booster ($24)

“Support your hair, nails, bones & skin with this beautifying brew. It’s the perfect synthesis of 100% plant-based collagen, adaptogenic herbs and spices to support digestive ease.”

This looks and smells so good! You can add this to any beverage of choice for a warming, skin-supporting tonic. I love the idea of adding it to tea or a warmed nut milk. It’s made with good things like ground rose petals, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and vanilla. I appreciate that this is a caffeine-free beverage option since I don’t drink caffeine, but if you do you could easily add it to a black tea for a tasty traditional chai. Also did I mention it smells so good?! Will be digging into this one right away.

Dirt Don't Hurt - Tooth + Gum Oil

From Vegancuts Beauty Box June (full box review here):
Dirt Don’t Hurt – Tooth + Gum Oil ($30)

“An anti-bacterial mixture that freshens breath and helps balance the pH levels. For overall oral health, place 2 drops directly on the toothbrush and brush as usual. For mouth rinse, place 2 drops in mouth after eating/drinking. No need to rise with water.”

Another unique product! I haven’t tried anything like this or received anything like this in a subscription box before. That makes it extra great! I know that oral health is super important so I like trying new products to keep my teeth and mouth healthy and clean. This sounds really interesting and super easy to use. It smells really minty and cool – like it’s sure to be refreshing.

Superzero - Mini Shampoo Bar

From Vegancuts Beauty Box July (full box review here):
Superzero – Mini Shampoo Bar (Normal or Dry) ($6)

“In circular motion, rub the bar over fully wet hair forming a lather. Rinse to clean. Certified microplastic free and climate neutral, Superzero does not sacrifice performance for sustainability.”

Out of the two options to receive I got the normal hair bar which is great, though either would have worked since I’d say I have normal to dry hair. I love trying out new shampoo bars and have never heard of this one before. It’s a cute little size that’s perfect for testing out and it smells amazing. It’s made with juniper berry, bergamot, eucalyptus and lavender oils so it’s very fresh and uplifting. I can’t wait to see how this works for my hair.

LivBar Ginger Lemon Turmeric Bar

From Vegancuts Snack Box June (full box review here):
LivBar Ginger Lemon Turmeric Bar

“A Superfood Energy Bar that provides balanced, sustainable energy in whole food form.”

I’ve like the LivBars I’ve tried before and I haven’t had this flavor so this is great. This one sounds nice and bright, perfect for a summer snack. It’s made with only whole food, healthy ingredients so it’s a snack that’s good for you too.

Māla Girl Broths Broth Mixes: Soulful Classic, Mushroom Braniac

From Vegancuts Snack Box July (full box review here):
Māla Girl Broths Broth Mixes: Soulful Classic, Mushroom Braniac OR Fireball Basil

“Mystical, Motivating and Veggie-Powered Broths perfect for sipping next to a campfire.”

Out of the options, I received the Mushroom Brainiac flavor. I always want to try mushroom drinks, but really hate mushrooms so I shy away. I am truly curious about how this tastes though since it has herbs, spices and cacao too. I’m sure it’s actually really good.

Silicone Facial Cleansing Device from ESSENTIAL LIVING

From Essentials Crate (full box review here):
Silicone Facial Cleansing Device from ESSENTIAL LIVING ($119)

“With 3 cleaning zones & 8 adjustable speeds, this USB rechargeable brush uses sonic, pulsing technology to deep clean & massage your face simultaneously. A single charge lasts months & its silicone design makes this ultra-hygienic & waterproof.”

I have been eyeing this face washing tool and have been wanting to try one so this is an awesome item. It’s super high value (which is great) and seems fun and easy to use. I’ve heard it’s a great way to gently exfoliate and seems like it will feel really nice on the skin too. I like that it’s something that really everyone can use since it’s only a cleansing tool and won’t affect skin the way a moisturizer or something else could. I cannot wait to try this one out!

Pineapple Paradiso Glow Mask

From Bella Vida Santa Barbara Luxury Beauty Box (full box review here):
Pineapple Paradiso Glow Mask (Retails for $30.00)

This face mask gently exfoliates, reduces oil, fights acne, and hydrates skin. It’s made with pineapple & papaya enzymes to gently exfoliate skin and get skin glowing. It smells SO amazing, just like a pina colada. Lots of tropical-vacation vibes. I want to try this out right away since it smells so good. I’ve been really focused on finding gentle ways of exfoliating my skin and trying to avoid physical exfoliants, so this mask comes at the perfect time.

Jasper & Amazonite Beaded Necklace with Smoky Quartz Pendan

From Compassionate Living Box from Gogh Jewelry (full box review here):
Jasper & Amazonite Beaded Necklace with Smoky Quartz Pendant ($29 value)

You will also find a handcrafted gemstone necklace in each monthly box. It is also made with carefully picked healing crystals based on the energies in the Universe to assist your practice. The “Authenticity” necklace this month is made with some very helpful stones including that beautiful smoky quartz teardrop shaped pendant. I love the subtle colors, the perfect length, the weighty feeling and bold yet also simply understated design this necklace has. I could see this being a great every day necklace or even dressed up for special occasions.

The lovely beads are a mix of jasper and amazonite. Jasper protects against negativity and aids in grounding you to the stabilizing energies of Earth. It sustains and supports through times of stress, and brings tranquility and wholeness. It encourages honesty with one’s self. Amazonite is called the stone of courage and the stone of Truth. Amazonite empowers one to search the self and discover one’s own truths and integrity, and to move beyond fear of judgment or confrontation with others to live in alignment with those beliefs and values. It provides the freedom to express one’s thoughts and feelings. Both VERY useful on the search for authenticity. Of course there is also the smoky quartz pendant which is an all around reliever of negative energies. Smoky quartz is excellent for elevating moods, overcoming negative emotions, and relieving depression. Smoky quartz relieves stress, fear, jealousy, anger and other negative emotions by transforming them into positive energies.
