February Subscription Box Favorites

Another month, another round-up of my favorite finds from my subscription box haul! I just really feel like I have the best subscription box collection to review every month and it’s getting harder and harder to pick a favorite from each box, but I’ve figured out how to narrow it down. Seriously though, it was hard to choose so you should definitely check out the full reviews for each (linked below) to see the full collections. I keep sharing snippets from each monthly box to give an idea of the awesome green and natural products you can get for a really great value. If you aren’t familiar, subscription boxes offer a monthly or quarterly selection of goods at a discounted price and they are shipped directly to your door. It’s easy, fun and is something I always look forward to every month. Read on for my February faves:

From California Found (full box review here):
Miss B Haven Set of Two Non-button Beeswax Wraps ($15)

  • “Kelly Knapp, founder of Miss Bee Haven Honey is a woman beekeeper that manages over 150 hives in Brentwood, CA.
  • In the past three years, she has grown Miss Bee Haven Honey into her full time job and has developed several products that use either honey, beeswax, or both.
  • Like us, Miss Be Haven Honey believes in keeping plastic out of our landfills and protecting our beautiful, fragile planet so we’re super excited to share their eco-friendly beeswax wraps with you.”

This is the best! I’ve been wanting to switch over to beeswax wraps for food storage but just hadn’t done it yet so finding these in this months box is awesome! They are such a great alternative to plastic wrap since they can be used over and over again. You’d think they’d be too sticky to use since they are made with beeswax but they aren’t sticky to the touch at all. They are slightly stiff and soften with heat from your hand to form around a bowl or other item for storing. They can be hand washed and air dried for continual usage. The set comes with two sizes, one that’s 13”x13” and one that’s 8”x8”. I love the design on these that has little honey bees on on it, so cute and on theme!

From Nourish Beauty Box (full box review here):
Wyldflower Labs Apricot-C ($24.99)

“This toning spritz is formulated with 11% vitamin c that targets mild discoloration by promoting cell renewal, helping to brighten as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines and skin fatigue.”

I always use toners in my skincare routine and occasionally like to switch it up based on how my skin is feeling or what it’s needing so a toner is always a good item to receive. This one is intended to brighten skin with vitamin C. It’s orange hue comes from the addition of apricot fruit powder which also makes it smell super fresh and juicy – it literally smells like an apricot! The only tiny downside is that I thought the product would be larger based on the packaging size, but not a big deal. There’s still plenty to give it a good test run.

From Kinder Beauty Box (full box review here):
100% Pure Bright Eyes Mask ($7)

“Highly caffeinated eye mask brightens and de-puffs. Extremely hydrating, quenches thirsty skin with blast of water delivered to dehydrated skin cells. The mask material “hydrogel” is composed from 95% organic aloe water and 5% plant cellulose made to intensely hydrate. The longer you leave the mask on your skin, the thinner the hydrogel mask becomes because the water gets absorbed. The hydrogel assists in delivering active ingredients onto your skin.”

Oh yay! I’ve been wanting to try these for so long but just hadn’t gotten around to purchasing them yet so this item is awesome to receive. I’ve seen so many bloggers rave about them so I’m excited to put them to the test. They are so simple to use and I’ve heard they feel soothing to the under eye skin. I’m plagued with dark circles and puffiness so it would be great if these could help reduce that a bit. Pair these with a calming mask and you’ve got a perfect little self-care sesh.

From Vegancuts Beauty Box (full box review here):
Terra & Co. Brilliant Black Dental Floss ($10)

“Fun fact! This fluoride-free and biodegradable floss is made with bamboo fiber and coconut oil to effectively remove buildup between teeth.”

I’ve had this item on my list to try for awhile now so it’s awesome it came in this month’s box! I actually put it on my 2019 holiday gift guide for stocking stuffers because it intrigued me so I love that I now get to try it out. It’s only made with activated charcoal bamboo fiber, coconut oil, vegan candelilla wax and peppermint essential oil. There’s 32 yards in the package so it should last awhile. This is a good reminder to floss tonight (sometimes I forget oops)!

From Vegancuts Snack Box (full box review here):
R.E.D.D. Bar Cinnamon Roll Bar

The packaging of this bar draws my eye in and makes me want to try it right away – such a pretty pink! This is a plant-based protein bar that’s flavor is cinnamon roll. I always crave cinnamon rolls so maybe this could be a fix to take my mind off of the craving? There is 10g of protein, only 3g of sugar, prebiotics + 1 billion CFU probiotics and an adaptogenic mushroom blend. Also, this protein bar doesn’t have nuts in it which is hard to find so I’ll be curious to try!

My January BuddhiBox came too late to include on last month’s roundup so I’m including the favorite item in this month’s roundup (full box review here):
Scentuals Muscle Pain Roll On ($12.25)

“Infused with pure Juniper, Rosemary and Thyme essential oils among others this 100% natural roll on reduces swelling and inflammation and reduces muscle aches and pains.”

This couldn’t have come at a better time! My shoulders are so sore so I’ll be curious to see if this can help ease the tension. It’s a roll on essential oil blend that’s said to help achey muscles. A few spicy and earth essential oils like juniper berry, clove, thyme, rosemary and black pepper should bring a little heat to the muscle in order to speed up healing and reduce inflammation.

From Buddhi Box (full box review here):
Me Time Botanicals Salty Vibes in the Buff Body Scrub ($16)

“With a sweet spa scent of lavender, rose, and sweet orange this organic scrub will help you relax, and rejuvenate, heart and soul!”

I love body scrubs and I love everything I try from Me Time Botanicals so I’m sure this salt scrub will be great! Body scrubs are especially nice in the winter for helping to slough off that dry skin. This one claims to soften skin without leaving a greasy residue which would be awesome because many scrubs tend to leave an oily feeling behind on skin and on the shower floor. It sounds like it will smell amazing too (I haven’t opened it quite yet) as I love lavender and sweet orange – a calming, yet bright combo. I’ll be using this one very soon for sure!

From Oui Fresh Mystery Box (full box review here):
Cream Cleanser by Corson Beauty

We are smitten with this incredible cleanser! Made with manuka honey, hemp seed, and jojoba oil, you’ll get a deep but gentle cleanse. It’s anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and beautifully scented with blooms like jasmine and neroli. Massage into wet skin, lather, and rinse with warm water. Pat dry and then apply your favorite toner or hydrating product!

I have been on a real manuka honey kick lately for my skincare so this item is perfect. It’s such a gentle cleanser ingredient with great anti-inflammatory properties and this cleanser sounds extra gentle too with all the added nourishing oils. It smells so delightful, a bit floral, sweet, earthy and grounding. This would make for an excellent way to wash away the day.

From Crunchy Mama Box (full box review here):
Ohm State Of Mind Healing Mineral Crystal Powder For Baths

“There was a time when Taking the Cure was as fashionable as Chanel and 5th Avenue. Est. in 1935, the Roosevelt Baths baths were designed to turn cold mineral water into a warm water healing experience. Patients stayed in Saratoga Springs NY, for 21 days, soaked in these baths daily for 20 minutes as administered by a Physician. Saratoga is considered to have healthiest spring water in the U.S. Ohm’s Saratogan is chemically formulated to match the waters of Saratoga Springs, NY. Drop a few scoops of our hand ground healing crystal mineral formula in your bath for the closest thing to the healthiest waters in the U.S. Our hand ground, healing mineral crystal powder formulas, are all packaged in a “Self Charging Bottle”. Each has a hematite bead nestled in the powder to keep the crystals charged, healing and fresh.”

This product is so intriguing! It’s another bath item, but I don’t think you can ever have too many of those and plus a bath is the ultimate self care indulgence ritual anyway. This is a blend of 100% pure minerals including blue calcite, selenite, biotite, celestite, green calcite & lepidolite crystals. They do not contain salts, clays, essential oils, or fillers so a little goes a long way. Taking a soak with these allows the skin to absorb the therapeutic healing minerals. It sounds like a delightful experience so I can’t wait to try these out.

There ya have it! The February round-up is complete. See any faves or subscription boxes you want to try??
