Whole Foods Finds for Beauty Week

It’s Whole Foods’ Beauty Week this week! From March 11 (yesterday) – March 17 all beauty is 25% off, with an extra 10% off for Prime Members so thats a super sweet deal. It includes skincare, makeup and haircare – so all kinds of good stuff! I thought it might be helpful and fun to put together a list of green beauty items that I like and have used or want to try that you can find at Whole Foods in case you want to try something new with the discount. Be on the lookout for the Beauty Bag that releases on the 13th too. It’s full of beauty items, some full size even, all for only $20. They sell out fast so you’ve got to be quick if you want one! Read on for some items to stock up on this weekend:

Captain Blankenship Mermaid Dry Shampoo & Mermaid Sea Salt Hair Spray
These products are new to Whole Foods shelves and just in time for Beauty Week! I’ve tried the Sea Salt Hair Spray and like it. It has a beachy rose scent and helps add texture and enhance my waves. I haven’t tried the Dry Shampoo but it’s said to have a similar scent and is in a great low waste packaged shaker. The only downside is that makes it a tiny bit harder to control, but with use it would get easier. Both have simple, natural and trustworthy ingredients.

HiBAR Solid Shampoos & Conditioners
I haven’t tried these, or any other solid shampoo bar for that matter yet, but it’s intrigued me for awhile so now would be a good time to give it a go. These are said to be salon quality haircare in a plastic-free, low-waste packaging. There are three sets to suit different hair type needs: moisturize, volumize and maintain. They contain no sulfates, parabens, silicone, or phthalates and are cruelty free. They are made with some great, simple ingredients and only scented with essential oils.

Acure Brightening Facial Scrub
I really like this exfoliating scrub a lot and use it a couple times a week. It’s a physical exfoliator, meaning it’s made with tiny grains that help slough off dead skin cells and leave skin smooth. It’s made with ingredients like sea kelp that helps soften and detox, along with lemon peel and French green clay cleanse. It has kind of a creamier, thick texture and a pleasant earthy aroma. I’ve tried other exfoliants that I like but I always have this one on hand since it’s effective and budget-friendly.

Evanhealy French Rose Clay Mask
I’ve never tried this mask, but I love clay masks and especially rose clay masks because they are gentle and good for sensitive skin. Plus they are pretty with they’re pink color! This one helps decongest skin, exfoliate gently, minimize pores and remove excess oil to leave skin refreshed. It’s a dry clay mask that just needs a choice liquid added to mix into a creamy texture before applying. I like clay masks because they have a longer shelf life and last a long time.

The Seaweed Bath Co. Restoring Marine Algae Overnight Face Mask
I haven’t tried this one, but it looks intriguing. I like overnight masks because really they are just a big dose of moisture and nourishing ingredients that assist your skin in repairing while you sleep. This one looks refreshing and soothing to skin.

Cocokind Resurfacing Sleep Mask
Here’s another sleep mask that I haven’t tried, but am enticed to. This mask is made with sleep bakuchiol, a plant-derived retinol alternative that helps to reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, and discoloration, while also increasing your skin’s youthful appearance and improving hydration. I’m really curious about this one as I’ve heard good things about bakuchiol, but haven’t tried a product that contains it yet.

Cocokind Mai-Light Rosé Highlighter
Every time I see these highlighters I want to get them all, but I still haven’t tried them. They are so pretty and look so easy to use in the twist up tube form. This one is a rose gold color, but there is also a gold and bronze option. They provide a subtle shimmer and dewy look for all skin types. The ingredients are also helpful and nourishing to skin. It includes organic maitake mushroom that helps hydrate, reduce inflammation and fight environmental or free radical stressors. I dig that this highlighter is coconut oil free and all ingredients are good for acne prone skin.

Cocokind Turmeric Tonic
I just bought this recently (I just couldn’t wait until the sale!) and so far it seems really effective. I’ve been using it as a spot treatment on my skin flare ups and it’s really seeming to tone them down and reduce the level of inflammation. This newer formulation is clear and leave-on as opposed to their original, and still good, Turmeric Stick. It’s easy to apply in a convenient roller ball tube and leaves no mess behind. It contains organic turmeric extract, ginger water, and tea tree oil to unclog pores and even out the complexion.

Acure Curiously Clarifying Shampoo & Conditioner
This is my favorite budget-friendly hair care set. It does a great job of cleansing hair and leaving it manageable. Since it’s clarifying I think it does do a bit extra to clear out build-up, but it doesn’t strip hair or leave it dry so it’s gentle enough for every day cleansing. It has a nice lemongrass citrusy scent that’s refreshing and uplifting.

Andalou Naturals Shampoo & Conditioner
This is another great budget-friendly haircare set. I couldn’t find the Sunflower & Citrus Brilliant Shine Shampoo & Conditioner to be able to snap a pic of it, but that’s my favorite pair. I’m sure this Volumizing set is great too, I just haven’t tried it. The Shine set gets my hair clean and leaves it feeling fresh. It smells like citrus and is bright and pleasant. I have a little bit more in-depth review of the Shine set over on this post if you want more info!

Seed Phytonutrients Moisture Leave-in Treatment
This is a great, lightweight leave-in treatment that doesn’t weigh my hair down. I’ve been using this before air drying and it seems to help calm the frizzes. I have wavy hair and anything that’s heavy weighs down and makes my waves limp, but this one keeps them natural looking and doesn’t negatively impact them. I’ve done a more in depth review on this that you can read here

W3LL People Bio Bright Invisible Powder
I usually use the W3LL People Realist Setting Powder and I like that one best, but I’ve tried this one and like it too. It’s a nice way to set your makeup that doesn’t leave it looking cakey or white-casty. It really is an invisible powder that blends and works with all skintones.

W3LL People Nudist Multi-Use Cream Stick
I don’t have this, but have sampled it before and it’s a great multi-use item that can be used on cheeks or lips or I guess even eyes. This one is Nude Peach and like the name says is a nude peach color with a hint of shimmer to create a subtle highlight and glow.

Evanhealy Wild Carrot Nourishing Eye Balm
I really like this eye balm! It’s nourishing and moisturizing for the delicate skin of the eye area. It’s lightweight, but it doesn’t soak in since it’s a balm. It’s in a stick form much like a lip balm so you just swipe it around the eye before bed and let it nourish your skin while you sleep. It’s made with cold pressed wild carrot seed oil, handmade whipped shea butter, certified organic oils of sunflower avocado, cocoa butter, rosehip and coconut oil. So many nourishing ingredients to hydrate, protect and brighten.

I didn’t get to snap a pic of the other two items from the very top image, the Acure Incredibly Clear Charcoal Lemonade Facial Scrub & the Seriously Soothing Cleansing Cream face wash, but they are both items I’ve bought and used also. Really, I like most all Acure products I’ve used before so you likely can’t go wrong.

Those are some of my top finds. Share any you have below. Happy shopping!!
