Goddess Provisions Box: April

Another great box arrived this month from Goddess Provisions! I’m sure I sound like a broken record but they just know how to do it over there. This month’s theme continues the theme from last month but at a more in depth level. Last month’s theme was Ayurveda wellness which is the practice of ensuring health through connection and harmony of the mind and body. In order to keep energies symbiotic and flowing smoothly, Ayurveda suggests ensuring that your chakras (or energy centers throughout your body) are open and aligned. This month’s box is the “Higher Chakra Ascension” box and focuses on 3 of the chakras: the crown chakra (top of your head), the third eye chakra (between your eyes) and the throat chakra (front of the throat) as these all work together to help you live your highest truth. Read on to see what items were included to assist with that:

Kailo Crown Essence
This roll on aromatherapy oil is intended to help you open, clear blockages and/or calm your crown chakra leaving you with a more open minded and spiritually connected. It can be used like a perfume or to enhance your meditation practice. It’s made with benzoin, anise seed, frankincense and lavender organic essential oils all in a base of jojoba oil. It smells kind of like a sweet licorice smell to me which is uplifting and grounding all at once.
First Impression: I like the idea of this oil and the meditation guidance that comes with it, I’m all for increasing my open-mindedness. The only thing I’m not 100 on is the scent, I can’t decide how I feel about it. But I’m definitely going to give it a try!

Thistle Dry Shampoo
Dry shampoo is intended to uplift your tired locks in between shampoos and in turn helps keeps your crown chakra energies flowing. This one is made of an herbal blend of rosemary, basil & tea tree essential oils in a mixture of corn starch, arrowroot powder and cocoa powder to keep hair fresh and clean. It smells so good, earthy with a tiny hint of chocolate.
First Impression: I like dry shampoos, although I haven’t been using them too much recently for whatever reason. I’m looking forward to trying this one though!

Little Moon Essentials – Clear Skies Ahead Mist
I love a good aura mist and this one smells so good. Also, how could it not be good with a name like “clear skies ahead”? It just puts a beautiful image in your head before even spritzing. It’s scened with the pure essential oils of chamomile, geranium and lavender and has a wonderfully calming scent. You can spray this in the air or on your face/body for instant relaxation and to get your mind in the right place.
First Impression: I’ve already used this product several times so far. Sometimes before meditation and sometimes just before heading out the door to start my day on the right foot.

Rainbow Symphony Sun Catchers
How fun are these? You attach them to a window (like a cling on) and then sunlight shines through and refracts beautiful rainbows around your room. These will help open your third eye chakra and uplift your spirit with their amazing light show.
First Impression: It has been SO cloudy here lately that I haven’t had a chance to test these out but I loved a sun catcher that I had when I was younger so I’m sure I’ll love these. I also love how the package comes with several in them so you can put them on all your windows if you want to go crazy!

Spirit Whisperings Crystal Grid
Using a crystal grid allows you to combine and amplify the energies of the chosen stones and creates a powerful energetic tool. I feel like it’s kind of like a recipe, you add all the ingredients you want and they combine to form a cohesive energy for use in getting what you need from life! This one comes with clear quartz (to expand consciousness and release negativity), amethyst (to increase your light), rose quartz (for unconditional love) that combine to help you connect with your divine light.
First Impression: This is so cute! It’s probably about 5×5 inches – I love mini things! It has a note that this would fit great in a greeting card and I think that’s a fab idea. There are a ton of options of these to choose from. I can’t wait to put this to use!

White Sage
Sage is wonderful for clearing negative energies and purifying your space. It’s said to release negative ions that have been linked to a more positive mood.
First Impression: I dig sage, happy to add another to my collection!

Bixby & Co Blueberry Whippersnapper
A craft candy bar made with simple ingredients of dark chocolate, real blueberries, cashews and Maine sea salt. It’s vegan, non-gmo, gluten free and the chocolate is rain forest alliance certified.
First Impression: I LOVE chocolate and even though I’ve been on a no-sugar kick, I might just have to try a bite of this- it sounds too good! Plus blueberries and cashews are healthy!

Kyanite Stone
This is a throat chakra stone that can be used when you want to speak your truth. It’s a peaceful stone that does not absorb negative energies and promotes communication.
First Impression: This could definitely come in handy! I’m always a work in progress with learning how to speak my truth.

Digital Chakras Guide – Upper Chakras
A handy intro guide to the upper 3 chakras. It has flash cards, activities, writings, meditations and mantras.
First Impression: This looks fun! I’m not the best at remembering that I have digital downloads (I’m ultra visual so it helps to have something physical) but I like the idea of this! I will have to print out before I forget!

Lastly, I can’t forget to leave you with this month’s mantra: “I’m aligned with my highest self.”
