November Subscription Box Favorites

November subscription box favorites

Since November is all about gratitude, I couldn’t let my monthly subscription box favorites recap go by without saying how thankful I am for these little boxes of joy that come each month. I just really appreciate how much care and thought is put into making sure that the subscription is worthwhile to subscribe to. I’m sure it’s a lot of work to make sure that each is packed with value and unique, yet useful items, so for any subscription box curator out there – just wanted to say thank you! Especially for November’s collections that were so good and contained all these really wonderful items that were either already favorites or were items that I’d been eyeing.

As usual, I’ve picked an item to highlight from each subscription box review I’ve done in the last month so you can get a taste for what comes in each. Be sure to click the link to get the full box reviews so you can get the full box details too! Many are linked over to A Year of Boxes where you can find discount codes and more if you’re interested in subscribing.

chiky botanica face serum
From Nourish Beauty Box (full box review here):
Chiky Botanica Serene Serum ($56)

“A blend of therapeutic botanical oils combined to balance skin that is irritated, red, uneven in tone, blemish-prone or tired. Blue tansy and lapis lazuli gem essence help create a cooling experience that is incredibly soothing, restorative and regenerative at a cellular level.”

This sound like such a nice face serum. I looks so beautiful too, and smells like a dream – a bit like a sweet, floral citrus. If you’re familiar with blue tansy, that’s the notes I pick up. It’s made with all natural ingredients and includes gem essences of lapis and sapphire. My skin could use some calming and soothing so this will be great!

orange and nutmeg soap
From Crunchy Mama Box (full box review here):
Orange & Nutmeg Soap Bar from Caney Creek Soap Co

“Hi! I’m Martha and I make soap, and to be a little more specific, I make an WAVES all natural bar soap using potassium hydroxide, rainwater filtered twice, and Himalayan salt. In 2012 I decided to try to make soap the old fashion way with oak wood, ashes, and rainwater. Working on the recipe off and on for the next several years and by trying numerous ingredients I finally found the right amount of lye, water, oil, and salt for the recipe that I have today, a hard bar soap made naturally with potassium hydroxide. My soap will lather in fresh, brackish or saltwater. It is conditioning to your skin, it has no chemicals, it is all natural, biodegradable and environmentally friendly.”

I love, love, love handmade soap and get so excited to find it in subscription boxes. I am especially excited about this soap as it’s from another brand that has been in this box before and the last bar that was sent was one of my favorites. Out of the two options to receive I go the Orange & Nutmeg bar. It smells so good and has the perfect bright fall/winter aroma – citrus with a bit of spice. It makes me think of those orange ornaments with cloves I made as a child – fun memories!

ruby moon tea
From Goddess Provisions Box (full box review here):
Club Magic Hour Ruby Moon Tea ($11)

“Become immersed in ritual with every sip of this heart-healthy immunity tea. Envision your heart & cells being filled with protective light and the glowing beams of a Ruby-hued moon.”

This tea sounds so delicious! It’s made with organic ingredients including hibiscus, black currant, rosehips, cranberry fruit, elderberry, and rooibos. I love that it’s moon related but also immunity related since we are headed into the season that immunity is going to need some serious boosting. It’s great to use tea as a tool for that.

meow meow tweet deodorant jar
From Vegancuts Beauty Box (full box review here):
Meow Meow Tweet Baking Soda Free Deodorant Cream in Lavender ($14)

“Gently rub a pea-sized amount into each armpit. For external use only. Natural underarm cream is safe, effective and will leave you smelling fresh all day. Pro Tip: If your cream is grainy, simply melt, mix and pop it in the fridge until solid. If your cream is runny give it a good mix and pop it in the fridge until solid. Do not use broken skin.”

Love, love, love this deodorant! I’ve purchased and re-purchased this product before because it’s that great. It’s all natural, no funky ingredients and smells lovely. It keeps me dry and smelling fresh. I love that this jar makes it plastic-free too. You might think applying with your hand is weird, but it’s not. It’s super easy and just like applying lotion. Definitely excited to find this item in this month’s box!

osmia black clay facial soap
And another from Vegancuts Beauty Box, because I couldn’t decide!
Osmia Organics Black Clay Facial Soap ($10)

“Osmia’s best selling soap, made with Black Australian clay and Dead Sea mud to balance and tone the skin. Coconut milk helps create the beautiful, white lather and the organic oils condition the skin, leaving it soft and nourished. Safe to use if you have perioral dermatitis and is a soothing routine for acne-prone skin.”

This is another product I love and am actually currently using as my face wash. It’s a mild bar soap that doesn’t dry out my skin or anything. It’s made with high quality, all-natural ingredients to sooth and heal skin. I have acne prone skin and find this helps keep it calmer. Really excited to get this product as I’m running out of my current bar. This will hold me over until I order another!

sweet cheat hot chocolate
From Vegancuts Snack Box (full box review here):
Sweet Cheat Hot Chocolate Mix

“Delightfully sugar-free: Stir into your favorite plant milk!”

Yum! I have been mostly avoiding sugar recently and have really been craving hot chocolate as the temps have gotten colder. This is the perfect solution! I might have to have it without marshmallows, but it will still be delicious I’m sure.

au naturale creme multistick
From Kinder Beauty (full box review here):
Au Naturale The Anywhere Creme Multistick (Daiquiri) ($35)

“The Anywhere Creme Multistick infuses cheeks, lips, and lids with purely pigmented color. It’s made to wear anywhere, so you’re free to play! There are no rules, so explore the potential of the versatile multistick formulation. Apply directly from the tin with clean fingers or with a cruelty-free brush of your choice to wherever you think your face could use a touch of natural color.”

This multi-stick type of product is so versatile and wonderful. I love that it can be used for anything, cutting down the need for multiple products. It’s made with all-natural, organic ingredients and has a lovely scent – light lavender. The color of this one is so nice – it’s like the perfect winter berry color. Bright, but a bit on the cooler side, and has just a hint of shimmer. Perfect for everyday or, if layered on, great for night too. An added bonus, I also really appreciate that the packaging is plastic free!
