Goddess Provisions Box: May

We’re continuing on with the chakra theme in this month’s Goddess Provisions Box. As a reminder, chakras are energy centers in the body. By keeping them open and energies flowing freely you help keep your body healthy and in a positive state. If you didn’t see my previous posts, last month’s theme (here) was the upper 3 chakras (crown, third eye and throat) and March’s theme was all about Ayurveda in general (related to chakras, and you can see the post here). This month’s theme is “Root down to rise up” and is all about the lower 3 chakras: solar plexus chakra (kind of right below your ribcage, by stomach), sacral chakra (lower abdomen, about 2 inches below the navel) and the root chakra (base of spine, tailbone). The items included this month are to help you get grounded and find your connection to the earth. Check out what was included below:

Violet Gray Solar Plexus Charm
This is a little charm you can add to really any piece of jewelry you have, or make a new piece with it! It’s a sweet little sun shape that’s meant to nurture the energies of the solar plexus chakra and evoke self-esteem, self-worth, positivity, confidence and empowerment. It comes with an affimation of “I Can…” to you can remind yourself that you can do anything every time you see it.
First Impression: This is really pretty and I think it will make a great addition to a piece of jewelry. I’ve never seen something like this and you can even collect a charm for each chakra, so that’s fun!

Kailo Solar Plexus Essense
Another nice roller from Kailo this month but this one is for the solar plexus chakra. It smells so bright and sunny with notes of grapefruit and lemon + grounding notes of cedarwood atlas and juniper berry. The lemon comes through the most for me and I love lemon so this one is great. To use, apply and meditate on any of the included mantras, “I do. I am confident and strong. I have the power to manifest my desires. I have the power to grow and evolve.” It should help clear any negative energies and make you feel confident in your being.
First Impression: Dig this, and can always use help in the self-confidence department. I will for sure be adding this to future meditation rituals.

Citrine
Citrine helps you connect to your personal power and creativity. It’s a bright and energetic stone (not only in appearance) that’s associated with the solar plexus chakra and the sacral chakra. It’s said to help clear any blockages in these areas and make way for inspiration, self-improvement and proper energy circulation.
First Impression: I always love adding new crystals to my collection and I especially like this one as is it’s my birth month’s stone (November)!

Lilac & Willow Candle – Blood Orange & Patchouli
Wowza, this candle smells so good. It’s so citrusy and sunny. It’s like a hot summer evening with a fruity cocktail. It’s made with pure, aromatherapy-grade essential oils, herbs, flowers, pure soy wax, and hemp wicks. It’s scented with patchouli, which is a naturally calming and grounding scent and is said to be helpful for your root chakra, and blood orange, which is said to be good for your sacral chakra because it’s stimulating and energizing and encourages creative expression.
First Impression: LOVE the scent of this!

SoapyLayne Root Chakra Massage Balm
A massage balm specifically for your feet and legs that when used will help you feel grounded and connected to earth through your root chakra. It smells warm and earthy, likely from the patchouli, cypress and ginger oils. It’s ultra moisturizing with ingredients like avocado oil, coconut oil and sweet almond oil that will leave your skin feeling hydrated. It’s topped with red jasper stones which are grounding stones that boost energy and strength.
First Impression: I LOVE the other SoapyLayne product that I have and use it all the time so I’m sure this one will be used a lot too. I think it would be a great follow up to a foot scrub before bed or for use after a nice grounding yoga practice.

Little Moon Essentials Foot Bath
Perfect for tired feet, this epsom salt foot soak will energize and comfort your tootsies after a long day. It’s made with peppermint oil that is calming and cooling to hot feet and castor oil that will help moisturize. Just a little bit added to warm water for a quick 5-10 minute soak is all that’s needed.
First Impression: Here’s something else I LOVE – foot soaks! So I will definitely be using this one. If you’re looking for a quick foot soak tip I’ve got one for you – instead of filling up the bath tub use two longer tupperware or glass containers, one for each foot. That way you save water and time and you can sit in anywhere that’s a more relaxing place.

Digital Chakras Guide – Lower Chakras
Like last month, this is a handy intro guide to the lower 3 chakras. It has flash cards, activities, writings, meditations and mantras.
First Impression: A little broken-record-like, but like I said last month, this definitely looks fun! However, I’m not the best at remembering that I have digital downloads so we’ll see if I remember to use.

**Special Note: If you made it this far down in the post then you are first to know that I’ll be having a GIVEAWAY starting tomorrow of a few of these items! I happened to receive some duplicates so I want to share with my followers. Stay tuned!!

Lastly but not leastly (made that word up), I can’t forget to leave you with this month’s mantra: “I’m made of and one with earth’s energy.”
