Tried-It-and-Liked-It: September 2016

sept_faves

I don’t know about you but I love seeing snapshot posts of current favorite products so I decided to start a reoccurring post of things I’ve gotten hooked on throughout the previous month. It will mostly focus on any samples I’ve recently tried that I’m really digging and will likely purchase and/or review at a later date. Check out my finds this month and let me know if you have any September faves too!

Root Pretty Eyeshadow – Colors: Tigerlily & Tan Rose
I’ve professed my love for Root Pretty eye shadows before but I’ve barely tipped the iceberg in terms of trying the colors of eye shadow that are available. I love eye shadow and have previously had pretty good collections B.G.G. (aka: before going green) that I’ve since gotten rid of. I’m slowly working on finding shades I like to build my collection up again so I tried out these two this month. I love Tan Rose for an every day, all-over color. It’s a loose powder shadow that’s shimmery and neutral. Tiger lily is a pressed powder shadow that has a bit of a red/warm/copper-y tone. It adds great depth and works well with the Tan Rose.

100 Percent Pure Kelp & Mint Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner
I need volume in the hair department and I like a shampoo that doesn’t leave me feeling like residue is left behind. This set has been the very best I’ve found so far that checks both boxes. My hair feels clean and the scent is refreshing!

Uma Oils Deeply Clarifying Face Oil
So far this is the best face oil I’ve ever tried! I need something that will reduce inflammation and this one really seems to calm things down. Not to mention that, it smells refreshing and relaxing – a nice way to end the day and ease into sleep!

Flourish Natural Body Care Lavendar Mint + Clover Silkening Serum
My blonde hair gets dry and frizzy and doesn’t always feel that healthy. This serum is like magic making it feel refreshed and smooth. A little seems to go a long way too while still achieving the same results.
