September Subscription Box Favorites 2021

September Subscription Box Favorites

It’s fall ya’ll and my September Subscription Box Favorites post is comin’ atcha! The temps are getting cooler most places (only slightly here in Austin thankfully) and fall subscription boxes have been arriving on my doorstep with things that are great for the season. Though I wouldn’t necessarily say the favorites I picked from the last month really scream “fall”(a few of the items feel much more summer to me, which is great as that’s truly my favorite season), but the boxes overall had themes that tied to the autumn and the great things about it, like cozying up and focusing on self care.

As usual, I’ve picked an item to highlight from each subscription box review I’ve done in the last month so you can get a taste for what comes in each. Be sure to click the link to get the full box reviews so you can get the complete details too! Many are linked over to A Year of Boxes where you can find discount codes and more if you’re interested in subscribing.

28 LITSEA RED GINGER BODY OIL

From Nourish Beauty Box (full box review here):
28 LITSEA RED GINGER BODY OIL ($22)

“A BLEND OF NOURISHING OILS OF MEADOW FOAM, BAOBAB AND SQUALANE TO QUICKLY MOISTURIZE AND REJUVENATE THE SKIN.”

Another brand I love trying products from! I’m so glad a body oil was chosen as it’s a universal product that most anyone can use. And most everyone will want to use this one because it smells so good and feels so nice on skin! I was so intrigued by the “Red Ginger” name as I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect that to mean for the scent profile. It turns out it’s a really nice, light, and pleasant herbal scent, not spicy like I tend to think of a ginger scent smelling like. It’s the perfect everyday body oil.

BELLA VIDA SANTA BARBARAPINEAPPLE PARADISO GLOW MASK

Another from Nourish Beauty Box because I couldn’t decide:
BELLA VIDA SANTA BARBARAPINEAPPLE PARADISO GLOW MASK ($59.99)

“GENTLY EXFOLIATES, REDUCES OIL, FIGHTS ACNE AND HYDRATES YOUR SKIN WITH PINEAPPLE & PAPAYA ENZYMES AND JOJOBA SEED OIL.”

Oh yay! I’ve tried and reviewed Bella Vida Santa Barbara products before so what a fun surprise to find this mask is my Nourish box! I love that this mask helps with gently exfoliating while nourishing skin too. It smells like a tropical vacation – just like a pina colada, yum! It’s bright scent and brightening nature make it the perfect summer mask, or the perfect mask to “take you away” as the weather gets chilly.

COSMIC BODY VITAL SMILE TOOTH & GUM ELIXIR

From Goddess Provisions Box (full box review here):
COSMIC BODY VITAL SMILE TOOTH & GUM ELIXIR ($9)

“This refreshing coconut oil blend is made with peppermint, cinnamon, rosemary and clove to leave your mouth sparkling like the stars. Use it for oil pulling or as a mouthwash alternative.”

This is a fun and unique item! I’ve previously been in an oil pulling habit but have fallen off track so this will be good to try out and help me get back to it. I like that it’s already in liquid form and it smells really nice and refreshing too. Oil pulling is a great few moments to not do anything else and take a few minutes for yourself. This will definitely be a good way to start out the day!

21 Drops - De-Stress Roll On

From Vegancuts Beauty Box June (full box review here):
21 Drops – De-Stress Roll On ($16)

“Anit-oxident rich and featuring key essential oils like Frankincense for quieting the mind and Ylang Ylang to soothe nerves. This organic therapeutic roller is perfect to complete your full facial experience or keep in your bag for daily use or before you go to bed. Apply as needed in circular motion to temples, wrists, collarbone or front of neck. Inhale and relax.”

This essential oil roller smells so good! It certainly lives up to it’s name as it’s aroma is calming and brings feelings of grounding with each inhale. It smells a bit floral and a bit herbal, a unique scent. I love collecting these types of rollers to help match any mood I’m in. I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of this one (perhaps unfortunately haha).

Rishi Tea - Sparkling Botanicals Black Lemon

From Vegancuts Snack Box June (full box review here):
Rishi Tea – Sparkling Botanicals (Dandelion Ginger OR Black Lemon)

“Elevated tea sourced with rare ingredients from artisan growers across the earth.”

I received the black lemon flavor which sounds super refreshing. I love anything with lemon in it and these botanical drinks have long intrigued me. They sent another flavor in another recent box. Glad to have this one to try out.

Shampoo Bar, HABITAT BY PELA

From Essentials Crate (full box review here):
Shampoo Bar, HABITAT BY PELA ($14)

“Made with certified cruelty-free ingredients, this waste-free shampoo bar replaces up to 3 plastic shampoo bottles. Easily lathers to gently remove build-up while leaving hair healthy & smooth. Free from sulfates, parabens, preservatives, phthalates & SLS/SLES free.”

I recently really got into shampoo/conditioner bars after being skeptical of them for some time. I was really excited about how they’re made and that they use not plastic but I was afraid they’d not work for my hair. Anyway, I’ve found they do so I’m jazzed to try this one out now. I’d actually eyed this brand as I have another one of their items so that makes it even more fun.

Mindfulness Multi-Stone Bracelet

From Compassionate Living Membership from Gogh Jewelry (full box review here):
Mindfulness Multi-Stone Bracelet ($29 value)

Each month a handcrafted gemstone bracelet is included. It’s personalized to your wrist size and made with carefully picked healing crystals based on the energies in the Universe to assist your practice. This month the bracelet inspired by “Shadow Work” is made with a collection of beautifully colored stones to encourage mindfulness and meditation.

I didn’t get a list of all the stones included, but can only assume they are a delightful concoction of healing energies. The colors alone are healing to look at with their cool and earth colored tones that inspire feelings of being grounded just from a glance. The information card shared: “Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one’s attention to experiences occurring in the present moment.” The individual stones of this bracelet are a great tool to use for focus while practicing mindfulness and their colorful nature is sure to keep you connected while you practice looking inward.
